Methods

  1. Name of the Method

We took inspiration from the method called “Plague Expo”. 

Only two of us did the poster and summarized the idea and concept visually on paper. We didn’t have time for us all to do this, as we had to prioritize the crafting, as we have a lot of coding that has be done.

This method made us think of how we could visualize our concept better, and what elements were important for the “vibe”, and what colors made it more in line with what we wanted to portray in our game; the way we want the player to feel. 

Process Documentation (for the Create Phase)

We worked in our different roles, to create the game.

The crafter started making the sound that will be played in the game, to set the mood of the game. The crafter and the gamemaster then coded the game, the artist drew the scenes/background and objects. The storyteller created a video with different pictures to amplify the storyline and the EU values.

The drawings are drawn in Procreate, and inserted in the game.

EXPO

In a bubble reality is what you choose to see and believe. 

What if the bubble of perception broke? Would you want to see what's on the outside? 

We have chosen to work with the EU value of Freedom, as we talked about the value of “Comfort”.
